Tutoring in the writing center: Techniques and strategies for corrective feedback

It is almost difficult to ascertain the effectiveness of the tutorial measures within the overall practices of writing centres (Eleftheriou, 2011). Many practices underlined by various teaching approaches have been experimented in different contexts - from directional to non-directional approach. And the results have indicated a tremendous impact, especially from the proponents of non-directional approach. This presentation has thrown more light on some of the tutoring strategies employed in writing centres to improve corrective feedback.
