Job Description

This is a full time 35h/week role to deliver excellent teaching and learning to the Primies’class, maintaining accurate records of children’s attainment and progress.

Your Role as a Teacher is to:

•Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible

• Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health

• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities

• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests and according to the international school program

• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides children with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.

• Instruct children individually and in groups, using an adapted teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations

• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to Primies

• Assign and grade class work and homework

• Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate Primies' progress.

A proven good or outstanding teacher with full and relevant Elementary School Teacher qualification
