Physics: Who discovered the law of refraction?

For many years, the law of refraction in physics was attributed to Dutch physicist, Willebrord Snellius, thus the name “Snell’s law of refraction. Then it was discovered that the law was actually discovered and written down by 650 years ago by a Persian mathematician and physicist, Ibn Sahl.
